Mesh Welding Machine Installation in Saudi Arabia: Spare Parts and Operator Training

DAPU completed the installation and commissioning of a mesh welding machine at a factory in Saudi Arabia. The customer was satisfied with the equipment and on-site service. The project also highlighted two practical priorities: preparing small spare parts and training a second technician.
Small Parts Needed More Preparation

The installation took seven days on site. During the visit, the DAPU team found that pneumatic tee fittings and special bolts were difficult to source locally.
These small items needed attention alongside the main equipment. Having them ready before the installation team arrives helps avoid interruptions while fittings or bolts are sourced.
For your project, identify which items will arrive with the machine and which materials need to be prepared at the factory. Check the required types and quantities before scheduling the engineer’s visit.
Extra Small Spare Parts at No Additional Charge
Following this experience, DAPU updated its export service to include extra small spare parts with the machine at no additional charge. Preparing these items before shipment helps reduce local sourcing delays during installation.
This improvement addresses a specific problem from the Saudi project: small accessories that are readily available in China may be harder to obtain near the customer’s factory.
Ask for the spare-parts list when discussing the equipment package. It gives your team a clear starting point for installation preparation and local purchasing.
Train Two Technicians for Operation and Specification Changes
The customer initially planned to send one employee for operator training. DAPU recommended training two technicians in machine operation and specification adjustment.
A second trained technician gives the factory cover when the usual operator takes leave or leaves the company. Operating knowledge then stays with more than one person.
Include both daily operation and specification changes in the training. This prepares the backup technician to help when the factory switches products, as well as when the usual operator is absent.
Discuss Your Installation and Training Requirements

Compare the supplier’s installation preparation and training arrangements alongside the machine itself.
Send DAPU your mesh specifications, factory location, planned installation schedule and number of staff available for training. Our team can discuss the machine configuration, small-parts preparation and training arrangements for your project.
